“The Power of The Law of Attraction”

Sometimes you have to be careful what you ask for, because I think God has a sense of humor. I have never cared about material things, but I know that in order to accomplish all that I intend to accomplish for the betterment of society, I have to have financial security.

Financial security is a hard thing to really see in your head, so I borrowed from Jack Canfield’s advice and pictured the lifestyle that goes along with it, as a way to bring it about. Again, I don’t have any desire for the jet set lifestyle, but was attempting to find a way to picture enough money to ensure that I can continue to provide for my family, for the sanctuary that is home to more than 140 lions, tigers and other big cats, and especially the funds needed to change the laws so that animals are treated with more compassion. So, I pictured the island home, the yachts, the planes, the cars, the celebrities…

Within a week, a movie star that I have only met twice called me and invited me to be her guest at the home of one of her supporters. She offered to have someone come for me in a private plane. When I went online to their website to find out a little more about them, I saw the island house I had pictured, with two yachts and a seaplane tied up on the beach. Once I arrived I saw a Bentley and a Porsche in the garage and some of the nicest and most generous people I have ever met. I was half tempted to pinch them, just to see if they were real.

They treated me to a lovely dinner cruise on their yacht and asked me to spend the night in their resort. They were so hospitable and wanted to help in any way possible. I was able to spend some quality time with the celebrity that I barely knew and now we are all working together to create some better legislation. This is such a small example of the power of the law of attraction and it makes me smile every time I think about the level of detail that was all manifested in such a short period of time.

“My life has totally changed thanks to the Law of Attraction!”

When I first watched ‘the Secret’ nearly 12 months ago, I knew instantly that my life would change forever. So much of it made sense and I kept thinking ‘I know this’! What I also knew was the importance of continually being reminded of what the Teachers were telling me.
After completing the SGR Program and learning more and more about applying the Law of Attraction (LOA) and maintaining it in my life, I am now experiencing a wave of success that I had only once dreamed off.
The LOA truly does work and when you fully allow it into your life, it works at such a rapid pace that at times, I find my head spinning ! What has happened to me over the past few weeks has been amazing but in saying this, I fully realize that I have attracted all of these wonderful things into my life. Here’s a summary.
I have written a small handbook tailored toward customer service and ‘people handling’ entitled “Hospitality – The Journey and You”;
I have been booked to host my first training seminar for a group of hospitality staff with regard to my Handbook;
I have now completed my second handbook tailored toward hospitality middle management entitled “Don’t Forget to Remember”;
I have written an event which has been bought by a National Evening Company who propose to take it National within 12 months. Plus, they have now offered me a role as their National Event Coordinator;
The Venue I ran the Event want to engage me to continue creating and coordinating events for them;
I have been invited by two Women’s Business Network Groups to be a guest speaker to help inspire others;
A local magazine is writing a feature article on me – human interest story (comes out 22 May);
TAFE Queensland are interested in my Handbook and have invited me to become a guest speaker to their students. They have also offered me a training role throughout the TAFE’s and High Schools within South East Queensland not only in hospitality but in events as well;
The SGR Program is selling at a steady pace and providing me with a source of income which enables me to print my Handbooks and now work from home full time around my family;
Then, after being diagnosed with Osteoporosis 4 years ago, the Specialists at the Hospital were totally amazed at the dramatic improvement of my spinal cord. Not only had I slowed the deterioration process but there were signs that parts of my spine were rebuilding. Much of this is credited for a drug I had been taking since being diagnosed; however, improved results like I have are uncommon. So I told them of the balance I have in my life regarding diet, exercise and positive thinking – this combined with the fact that I no longer was working the hard labouring hours in hospitality completed my success story and as a result they will be sharing my story with other patients to inspire them. Isn’t it wonderful how you can help others!
I have been a sole parent for over 10 years and with being in hospitality have never spent a full school vacation OR Christmas Day with my children until last Christmas!
I am from a hospitality background. My Event skills were only what I taught myself over the years working within the hospitality industry and coming up with ideas to create entertainment and increase customer numbers. I have had no formal training in writing books or in staff training. HOWEVER, what I did have, was the knowledge within me that I have these skills and had virtually taken them for granted over the years because to me ‘it was common sense’ or ‘easy’ to do. Suddenly, I realized that that was not the case to other people – so there it was, a market for what I enjoy doing and found ‘easy’ and from that idea formed others and so on!

This is my dream, I always wanted to go to Italy and on a Mediterranean cruise. I always had that little voice in the back of my head saying that, “yea thats great but you will never be able to afford to go”.
